  1. In case you missed it, you can rotate and zoom in etc. You can also change the time of day, hPa level, etc. Just click on the Japanese writting in the bottom left corner and select english and it should become clearer what it all does.

  3. Not to mention the funnel cloud that formed! Excuse the bad photo, it was taken on my phone while dodging the heavy rain. You can see what looks like a long thin cloud in the background, that was actually rotating a quite a rate. Don't think it actually touched down though. Edit: Anybody know how to rotate the picture the right way up on an iPhone?
  4. Long time lurker on this forum. Amazing amounts of snow in some parts of the country, and some amazing photos from everyone. Took a wee run down to the Mournes on Saturday morning to see if I could get up the mountains for a dander but there was no hope. Every road into the mournes was blocked, either abandoned cars, too much snow for the snowplough, flooding or even a tractor stuck in the snow on the Spelga pass. In the end I gave up and headed for home. Didn't get any pictures there as the camera was at the bottom of the rucksack in the boot and I sort of forgot about it as I was concentrating on the driving so much. In the end I found some proper snow closer to home. Hand a nosey around the Craigantlet hill instead. Theres hopefully a couple of pics to show the depth of snow. Road Service trying to retrieve their stuck gritter/snowplough at the top of the Ballyregan Road. The large drift in the background is around 12ft high, taken at the top of Church Road above Holywood. Back of the 12ft drift. Giraffes out enjoying the snow for anyone that knows Church Road.
