  1. I was on the same road at same time and thought likewise. Also similar on parts of A12 towards London. For what it's worth weather fine, brokon cloud and 9c.
  2. So I am the only person on the forum at 2.18am. This either means I suffer from insomnia or have the utmost enthusiasm that something may happen at some time weatherwise. - which won't be soon! So back to insomnia I guess. Weatherwise - it's dark outside.
  3. Time to dream. There is the tiniest bit of PPN in the estuary and this will obviously explode into a huge Thames Streamer and cover all of London and surrounds with feet of snow. Shall I continue to dream or just go to bed and forget about it? This can't be the end of any snow chances for this winter - it's only early February and we possibly have up to two weeks of dross and that leaves at least another week of of February. I can't believe many of you have thrown the towel in so early. I'm with Paul S on this - for a while.
  4. Just been into the Mad thread and there are 7 members, including me, online. Says it all really.
  5. Sitting here top of Wrotham Hill watching snow showers pass over the weald of Kent. Stunning.
  6. Took a drive up to top of Wrotham Hill and it's just started light snow/sleet. I'm facing North and plenty of dark cloud coming up behind me. Could be interesting.
  7. Spoke to soon as it's heavy snow now and laying. Quite a crowd turning up here!
  8. Took a drive up to top of Wrotham Hill and it's just started light snow/sleet. I'm facing North and plenty of dark cloud coming up behind me. Could be interesting.
  9. Dry as a bone here but radar tells me otherwise. One of us is wrong!
  10. Lewisham and Dartford either side have none. There ye go ...that's me again. Never before have so many lost so much sleep in the pursuit of so little......hang on...that sounds a bit Churchillian but you get the point.
  11. Isnthatbsleet that has just entered nE London area? I'll try that again- Is that sleet that has just entered the NE London area?
  12. "with a band in between that is dry " That'll be me then......
  13. Seems like we've all given up hope and gone to bed. Night all.
  14. There is a large shower train currently in the estuary heading for NW Kent I think. Will that be snow?
  15. Just so that I don't completely collapse of exhaustion whilst waiting in SE London does anyone have any idea what time scale we are looking at for when snow arrives? What time should I put my alarm on for?
  16. I said hours ago that this would miss London to the west BUT that was meant to a bit of a joke! Next time I will keep my big mouth shut. Sorry.
  17. I'm pretty sure those showers coming south are going to pass to the west of London if they stay on their current track. Some way to go yet though......as for the Northerly next weekend - I would just forget about it until Friday and check then.
  18. However much I try to make it sound like snow.......it's rain.
  19. Is the NW V6 radar working? It has a huge pink covering for all of London but it's raining.
  20. Sorry, just seen your post Sno' problem and that answers my question. Thanks.
  21. Almost stopping here so time for some sleep. What's the verdict on pond further Nirth? Are we due more later?
