    Tuesday looks better..unstable northwesterly..hopefully plenty of snow showers.

    No sooner had i written this off, it starts coming down..sticking on grass bins cars and pavement ..not passed the acid test yet though of sticking on the road outside work.

    Feb 96 for me..over a foot easily..I've been waiting ever since for a repeat.

    That would be a carbon copy of Feb 1996..my fav ever snow event..I've been waiting since then for a repeat.

    Not expecting any snow here in blackburn tonight..either going to be below me on Merseyside or above me Lancaster area according to the models I've seen.

    met office not showing any snow for Thurs yet..wall to wall sunshine.

    Looks like a classic wishbone effect to me..snow down the coasts, dry inland.

    Yes something has happened. Yet again the models have indicated a good cold spell, ..then backtracked as we get closer. Always always happens.

    Liking the sound of that...but with it being a couple of days off I expect that to change as usual to a few isolated showers or sleet .
