  1. Hahaha. All of those things. Plus a smack in the face with a dollop of water when leaving the house. Not a great start to a Monday. I'm sure a foot or 2 of snow would cheers me up though.
  2. They're calling this blue Monday or something. I have to admit waking up to driving rain again has got me thinking of spring/summer. Craving a good bit of warm sun now.
  3. Latest BBC forecast showing the Wed/Thur low much further North as per latest model output. Still looking very nasty. I have to say this week is looking cold, windy and pretty miserable.
  4. I seriously don't want that to come off. My house is prone to damage and that would bring an abrupt end to dry January
  5. cheers! had to turn my phone. All I was getting was Canada and a bit of Greenland
  6. Andy. Wtf am i looking at here ?. I've tried with my left eye. Right eye and Both eyes but i cant work it out.
  7. Even if this doesn't come off at least we've had some interest and snow this Winter. What are the temps forecast for next week?
  8. is that the centre of the low brushing south wales?
  9. hammering down. A good 3-4 inches now. Definitely best here since 2010.
  10. wind forecast now confirms this. gone from a strong westerly to a much lighter north/northeasterly
  11. heavy snow here. A good covering already?
  12. i think it's a case of nobody really knows. Models underestimate the resilience of cold and south wales can do much better than forecast. a definite shift south. I would say we're definitely in the game
  13. temps on BBC auto forecast dropping. maxing at 3 tmrw now. It was 6 a few hours ago
  14. fairs doos. Bit grumpy this morning myself. hahaha The BBC auto graphics were spot on for my area. It was the tv forecasts that were a little misleading.
  15. bit OTT i think. Some mild disappointment which is understandable. The only stamping of feet here seems to be yours
  16. over 200m here. Again. Can't seem to get below that here for the last 5 years. Very frustrating
  17. Sorry all. Just bought a sledge. Might have put the kibosh on the snow
  18. As I opened the curtains this morning i muttered to my wife that this is the worst September I can remember. Lets just hope there's some balancing up so we have some more dry, cold, snow etc.. come late Autumn/Winter. I think that could be a real possibility
  19. August is fast becoming my least favourite month
  20. I've also been comparing this summer with 1995. Not an exact match but there are certainly similarities. 1995 wasn't wall to wall sunshine. I remember quite a few weeks of overcast weather, some drizzle but overall very dry. And we all know how it finished. Signs are looking good for this August so fingers crossed! We're well over due a good one
  21. driving back to south wales from Durham. Just seen 2 lorries on 2 wheels just North of Nottingham. Hairy!
  22. oh bloody hell. Yes. Capel Curig often tops the wind gust tables. that's gonna be interesting! Let us know how it is/was
  23. I'm driving back from Durham at 10am so will spend most of my time in the amber zone. Not looking forward to that. Hoping most of the haulage firms ground their fleet
