  1. BBC weather this am still going for cold next week and a snow event Monday/Tuesday. Mountain weather also supporting this. Wouldn't be surprised if by this evening things have turned around again!
  2. Can confirm it is snowing in crieff but don't think it'll come to much as it's quite light
  3. Seems to have stopped here now. Got about an inch, wasn't expecting that!
  4. Yes bit of a surprise, I thought we would be too far north for this one! Hope it makes it way over to you Edo!
  5. Mountain weather forecast says mild next week then colder weather may well develop! Here's hoping it'll be in time for Xmas day!
  6. Raining yet again! The ground everywhere is sodden! Supposed to get a tad breezy this afternoon/evening, should be quite lively looking at the forecast.
  7. Met office have just updated their site, looks good for us! UK Outlook for Tuesday 23 Dec 2014 to Thursday 1 Jan 2015: Rain over central and southern parts Tuesday should move slowing southeastwards, clearing the southeast early on Christmas Eve. Colder showery conditions to the north, with snow on high ground here, following over the entire UK. The colder conditions then persist for most through Christmas Day and the following weekend with snow even to low levels at times in the north. There is a low probability of some more persistent rain crossing southern parts during the holiday weekend with a risk of snow on the leading edge. Otherwise in the following week there looks to be a gradual return to spells of wet and milder weather interspersed with colder, showery conditions. Generally windy for many throughout the period with risk of gales, these mainly in the northwest.

  12. Need to get out and run at least 3 miles tomorrow which should be interesting! Undertaking a challenge of running at least 3 miles a day for the month of December. Think I will find somewhere with no trees!
  13. Battleground set ups were also mentioned with Atlantic incursions happening. Usually get our best snow here from this type of set up.
  14. MWIS are predicting gusts of 120mph! Granted it'll be on mountains but could be very dangerous at low level too!
