We was here before in 2010..the cold and snow dropped in then a very brief mild blip around 3 days tops, then the drop came in, cold rushed down and December 18th 2010 we had the biggest snow event, first red warning from meto I had ever seen..it was relentless a 30 min car journey home took me 3 hrs. Back then the thread was split up I was in the east Anglia thread with snow angel..mk..also I think jp john pike..and many others..the possibilities for a repeat for us all are there as we step back into the freezer around the 20th. it's still December, loads of winter left...and wow days I believe are still to come.

Model Output Discussion - the cold has arrived

Milder interlude is getting shorter and shorter time scale wise. Didn't we experience this scenario 2010, or was 2018..I cant remember now, but I'm sure the mild interlude had pretty much gone when we got closer and closer to the time -
Well, I know we are all looking for more, but compared to last December's garden path run..we have a pretty nice northerly which is not going away over the next 48 hrs. 7th of December and we are going into the freezer..get the cold in is what I've always been told here and the rest will follow..it was only 2 weeks ago we was averaging a post every 20 mins, now its every 20 seconds..that tells the whole story..let the fun and anxiety begin.!

Well evening all, Still very muggy and close, I see the bookies have now slashed odds based on Monday and yesterdays extreme temps, the heat was shockingly unbearable, along with record breaking. Now we approach August and with this also being a very hot month and at times we can have very long HP spells, what we experienced Monday and Yesterday could very easily be repeated again and very soon I believe, the Heat is very much in control in the Med, and we are in Plume season...our strongest ones are still to come, but as we move through August so is the highlighted chance of good old storms with the good old Atlantic influence. Stay Cool..

Bloody hell that was intense, that squall line came through like a tornado... The rain WOW, as for the Windows could literally see the glass slightly flexing with the intense gusts and the roar. Definitely some damage out the front, could here crashing etc, need day light to see though, unfortunately our super bright LED street lights are not lol. I think any damage partially done Friday is now completed.
