    How are we looking considering a return to the cold weather in a week or so's time? How's the SCANDI/SIBERIA high looking?

    You think that the Scandi/Russian block will not progress westwards? Also I live in the guildford area, just on the edge of the N.Downs, reckon I'll see some snowfall tonight? If so, how much? Being snowed in again would be a dream!

    http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/radar/ Looking at the radar, EVERYTHING coming of holland and north west germany is fading out over the north sea. Would be great to see it building up instead. Anyone intelligent know why it isnt?

    http://www.meteox.com/h.aspx?r=&soort=loop24uur&URL Looks like those showers are completely breaking up over the north sea instead of building. Does anyone know why this is? Surely they would pick up moisture to be then dumped as snow on us in the SE?

    oh well, seems this cold snap is pretty much over as its going to warm up over the next few days. doesnt really look like we are going to get anymore decent snowfall apart from the odd light shower which won't really accumulate. Was fun while it lasted!!!! btw, what happened to the 7/8 inches that was forecast for last night? woke up this morning expecting a lot more snow and got absolutely nothing!

    just watched latest bbc forecast. puts another 7/8 inches tonight over surrey and neighbouring counties (mainly to the east). We currently have 5/6 inches on the floor in and around Guildford. Going to get DEEP! its also currently snowing here moderately from the 1st trough, so far only around 1/2 cm but slowly building though this will cease before the main front will hit.

    started to snow in guildford, very light flurries though, nothing serious. waiting on the big stuff to blow in from the east!!!

    Anyone know the forecast for Guildford, Surrey? We gunna get any of the white stuff here? Is it moving west or just staying to the east? Thanks

    hi guys, New to this but loving reading all the posts. I'm over near Guildford in Surrey, can you give me a heads up with what the forecasts are? anyone know? we got much snow coming? fingers crossed. Nothing here atm, pretty much scattered light clouds with patches of blue sky. BRING ON THE SNOW! James
