    Not been on here for a loongg time. Tommorow is 30 years since the 1991 blizzard in Sheffield, when i was a child, i remember ice on inside of windows has well has out.     Well according to bbc sheffield will have 12 hours heavy snow, christ will it be wellies to the left trouser leg house lol. One thing , weve had some snow event this winter, certainly not the worst!

    Was really great last night and shame it wasnt going to stick around but even so, 3.2 here currently and quite a bit of thawing going now, hope we get more in to feb.

    Marvelous all this snow coming and its all gonna be gone soon, mind even so ive been reasonably pleased with this cold spell, cant be all 1947 and 1963s!

    Up to a crazy 1.8 here now, a slow thaw, i think it will snow later here but very wet, will see.

    Well temp in my location is currently 1.2, ok just a basic digital weather station but its not too far out

    Well in the last 45 minutes its gone from -1to -0.2 so it appears to be a rise quite quick, I'm expecting largely sleet here at this rate tbh.

    Just under 2 degrees here currently and it seems to be thawing quite a bit.

    Was nice walking with wellies on, it was nice and soft snow, ok no 2010, but lets be honest that was a rarerity so this has been a pretty decent cold spell, snow could have been a bit more but im pleased. 8/10

    Not really heavy here, just them fine flakes again not sure it will mount to much at the moment unless things change.
