Hi all, started snowing about 4.15 near bolton abbey and was still snowing hard when I left at 7pm! Got home to Skipton though and nothing! Rubbish. Though the trip to work might be fun in the morning :s

After the joy of freezing rain yesterday, its just starting to snow lightly here in Skipton! Bring on the white stuff!

Well the sleet has begun here........

Very quiet here now the snow is stopping eh? However I decided (misguidedly I know) to take heart from the bbc as they changed my forecast from sun, sun, sun to this: Well its something to aim for isnt it? lol

Evening all A generally quite rubbish day after waking to lovely fat snowflakes this morning - then that stopped and we have had miserable yuckyness with steady thawing Still got a couple of inches of snow in garden to admire though so all is not lost. Yet lol.

Right off to bed in the hope that the snizzle will make more of an effort when im not watching. Good luck for snow tonight everyone :lol:

Finally! The sleet has turned to light snow here now, looks like it was a snow shower coming over the hill after all!

Whats that coming over the hill? Is it a snow shower? I bloody hope so!

Im ignoring it now until it makes an effort - its more rain than snow here

oooooh tiniest amount of sleet has started, time for the snow dance I do believe!

Perhaps another well timed snow dance might be in order? It worked earlier (some may call it coincidence though.....) :wacko:

Had a lovely moderate/heavy snow shower for about an hour earlier. Since then had rain and its washing away all my lovely snow cover
