    Something along the lines of the temps starting to pick up during the weekend contrary to what a certain newspaper has "expressed" recently if you get what I mean! I reckon the daily express do it for publicity, good or not, it gets them talked about and probably sells them more papers as a consequence

    I just can't believe the amount of cold we've had this winter, but lack of snow!! You couldn't make up some of the missed opportunities. Too far north, in the channel, m4 corridor crap, rain, sleet, arrrrhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! Winter just bloody well end will you, so we can get on with our lives!!!!!!!

    Just heard a reporter on TV saying there are 14ft drifts on some of the higher roads in Cumbria, cars completley buried!!! And it's bone dry here! It's torture!!!!

    The national forecast looks like going with the UKMO model as far as I am aware?? Rain for midlands south thurs into Friday. Are they just playing catch up or know more than we do?!

    It usually does. Haven't you learnt anything by now! This is how it goes.........T96 We're on for a blizzard and the biggest snow storm for decades as a channel low smashes into cold air. This is hyped up by , and , and we're all reaching for the Champagne. T24 The low is shunted further south and we may get 5cm. T0, snow heads into Northern France and we get bugger all. Its like Ground hog day

    People in the model thread where talking about a once in 50 year event, most probably . Many people mentioned "blizzards" and now it comes down to a few cm. Why on earth people get excited about that?? I'd rather have the mild weather back, than freezing my t*ts off, just to see a few flakes come down!
