    No snow here yet, i'll be so dissapointed if we dont see any snow considering the charts from a couple days ago, we havent had a covering in donkeys years, barely even a dusting.

    Not liking the met office warning map, coastal strip of cumbria is out of it suggesting high chance of a rain shadow here again.

    Would be chuft with a couple cm to make everything white but also feel like it was a missed opportunity for 5cm + as this is the best set up for us in absolute years, the only way this area gets significant snow is from these battleground scenarios which a lot of the time never make it north of liverpool, praying it gets this far north and no rain shadow over us please.

    Happened here aswell, the roads where blocked by huge drifts in the sw of cumbria on the coast only 15-20 miles south of here but barely a flake here and certainly zero lying snow, im still traumatised by that event in march 2013, even iom had huge drifts at sea level.

    Havent logged on here for a while but been reading it now and again when theres been a cold spell, hopefully we might catch a snow flurry tonight if they dont all go south because still havent seen a flake this winter although the fells around ennerdale are nice and white for the first time this winter from sunday night, please just let it snow for once.

    Really heavy snow on IOM atm, bone dry here about 40 miles away

    Id say this winter so far has been cold but barely any snow yet again, managed 0.3/0.4 cm on the 8th Jan which didnt thaw for 24 hours then a very light graupel dusting on the 24th Jan which thawed within a couple hours. The wait for more than 1cm of snow goes on.

    Im pleased i managed to make a few good memories playing and sledging in the snow when i was a kid because kids nowadays are screwed for snowy memories around here, feel sorry for them, some of the best memories ever.
