  9. Regarding next weeks wintry excitement DRL Nina Ridge on the 'weather for the Week ahead', Nina mentioned a very cold second half of the week with plenty of cold fronts incoming from the NW So it seems not just showers but more organized snowfall will hit us across the Midlands but at the end of the forecast she did mention keep an eye on the detail.... OF COURSE Nina :yahoo: . A very interesting, Cold & Snowy week a head forks :cold:
  10. Fax charts showing a trough to the NW on weds with the 528dam line ahead of it!!!! and that'll be over us come weds evening with I'm sure.....SNOW FALLING. All subject to the next 72 odd HRS!!! Loving the Net weather Snow Risk Charts for Weds evening Thurs morning
  11. When there's talk of a Northerly, it isn't really a straight Northerly more of a NW'ly, The air may come from up North, but that doesn't mean it's coming down the spine of the country in which agreed....a waste of time Snow opportune moments becometh the streamer.... Finger-crossed anyway
  12. One of the coldest feeling weeks to come in a while, wind chill down to the -10's come Thursday/Friday and that's going to feel Bitter Weds/Thurs, Snow Showers coming in from the Northwest, streamer maybe or even the odd trough or two Fax charts will be interesting in the next few days...... troughs can pop up from nowhere in these northerly set ups With Met Office giving out early Warning for parts of the UK already for Weds, it's only time before the rest of the UK will join in..... will all the FUN OF THE FAIR
  13. And bring in the dislike button, ...likes or dislikes .....Who bloody cares!!! If peeps get likes or even stars for that matter, most on here don't give a what ever if they get likes, I'm sure most who visit Net Weather find it very informative what ever thread they are reading. whether your Stephen Hawkings or Dumber & Dumber
  14. La-La Land!... well said 'Picog' ......That's been the Winter so far in the Midlands this year and the La-La winter continues !!!! As for Weds more like back edge snow but at this stage you never know ? after weds and onto the weekend a very wintry set up with the 850's around the -5's to -7's and from weds the 528 dam line always stays well south of the UK I'm sure with these northerly set ups it's wide open for SNOW but who get's it the story continues All sorts happening by tea-time Weds and with a strong wind chill...... Brrrrrr
  15. Well if Mr blobby wants to have a good dump (snow) over my head i won't mind
  16. Defo one to keep an on for Weds (HEAVY SNOW)... 850's and DP'S are looking good Now't marginal about them, SNOW SNOW SNOW all the way Obviously all on the 06z GFS output, I'm sure it will change on the next run in some way but as i said "one to keep an eye on". Who is ready for round two lol..... Round ten and i would still be here with the same enthusiasm
