    i feel robbed, cheated and broken, im leaving christchurch forever, however it did snow heavily but it was to wet to settle

    temp in christchurch is 2.2 dew point -1.2. we def wont get any today i think

    maybe, just maybe this is our best chance of a decent snow in dorset, well east anyway, though it is extremely marginal at the moment.

    asipre27. Just add to your comment, i live no more than a 1000 yards from the sea. In possibly one of the mildest places in the country (christchurch), and we still have lying snow!!! although temp is around 1c there is no real thaw happening here. I await this weekend with baited breath, mind you after last weeks efforts im not overly hopeful off a dumping!!

    still chucking it down in christchurch, all of our non essential staff have been sent home, wonder how much longer it will continue. We have an inch on accumulated snow and gathering all the time, anyone know how much more we are due?

    We seem to be getting it coming in from the south east and north, its like its pushing into a vacum from both directions lots of snow all around the east dorset coast now

    I was living in leeds last year when we had the last big snow event. Now i am witnessing the biggest blizzard i have ever had the privilige to watch taking place in christchurch right now its stunning!!!

    this really is quite a scene, the snow is coming down heavily in christchurch and the wind has picked up and has started blowing it around. Looks like something from the day after tommorrow LOL

    looks like things are ramping up a bit more than was anticipated for dorset, makes up in a small way for the rubbish we endured yesterday

    i think snow showers for us in dorset are set fair for the day, its got heavy here, is settling on cars and pavements

    in boscombe temp is 0.8 dp is -0.8 so yeah should stick if all local temps are consistant

    Waiting with baited breath. i really hope christchurch gets some, its very dark outside and the logistics manager has just informed we are expecting continuos snow fall from midday onward we can but pray

    its still snowing really heavily in christchurch, but its just to wet to settle. Maybe when the temp drops a bit hey!!
