    Towers sprouting upwards to my south. Just had a light shower, huge drops of rain. A few more strikes showing in the channel again now

    Saw 10-12 trees down on my drive down to Winchelsea/Pett level where the sea had stripped the sea shingle wall down to it's concrete footings in places. One large tree down in Rye which had just scraped the side of a newly built house, just taking the corner of the roof down from what I saw. Lines down across the road in Wittersham, no one on scene to sort them out around lunchtime earlier. A nice hail shower here earlier as well

    Wind very strong here now, can hear wheelie bins and recycling boxes being blown around the street. Would love to be living near the coast, must be pretty wild!

    Woke to a few flakes sitting on top of a frost this morning. One sleety/hail shower mid afternoon. Looking very wet indeed midweek!

    Heavy snow shower here, started as sleet. Not laying. Slight dusting on cars and grass, lasted all of around 2-3minutes

    A fair number of showers appearing on the radar now, perhaps one or two could get a dusting overnight?

    Last shower was indeed sleety here. But yes, frustrating that there are currently no more showers to follow looking at the radar.

    Heavy sleet shower here just now. Cars still covered in frost, going to be very icy in the morning! Scrap that, heavy rain and frost is slowly disappearing lol.

    Afraid not! I'm down that way again on Wednesday, but I'm pretty sure they will have replaced the shingle by then. They have 6-8 dumpers running back and forth, wont take long to fill the gap. Wind is dying down here now, with the stronger gusts becoming further and further between one another.

    Just been down to Winchelsea. Sea is eroding the wall fast, just 4-6ft left in one particular area. Emergency repairs being undertaken now. A couple of large branches down along the way, but nothing too serious in my area that I've seen so far. Looking forward to the possibility of snow later this week/weekend

    OMG! Disaster has struck here! Midnight has arrived and off go my street lights Light snow for a while here - Was just beginning to lay on the cars, grass roof's etc

    Some monstrous showers here this afternoon! A couple of distant rumbles, hail, mammatus and even some sleet in the band that recently pushed through

    As others have said previously - It is still too far away to be taken seriously. Weather charts are changing every hour of the day and occasionally it will show something unusual which 99 times out of 100 will not verify. I must add that I'm no expert and I'm simply telling you what the gfs is currently predicting.
