  1. Thanks for the info! Sorry I forgot to say I am driving from Glasgow, getting the ferry to Belfast then driving down from there to Maynooth. As long as the roads are clear we should be fine I hope! Lots of snow up here in Glasgow but the roads are clear so I hope the roads are the same over there
  2. Morning all, just woke up to a nice fresh supply of snow once again I am traveling to Dublin later today to visit family over there, I will be driving down to Stranraer to get the ferry then driving from Belfast into Dublin. Can anyone tell what the roads and the weather will be like later this afternoon and evening? Cheers

  7. Looks like no more snow for Glasgow, I think it will remain dry the rest of the week but who knows? I think if we get a straight easterly, any showers with it will feed there way through the central belt
  8. Looking at the radar, it looks like the Glasgow area might get another dumping of snow?
  9. The word snow seems to be all over the news today, oh it's because the south east is going to get a bit
  10. I was thinking that myself, I have enough snow as it is but I am just a bit greedy and want more more more!
  11. Total whiteout here and it's still snowing really heavy with big fat flakes, but looking at the radar it won't last much longer but hey this was totally unexpected and it has made everything look nice and fresh once again. Amazing stuff! Enjoy it Ross, looks like you will get lots from this aswell:drinks:
  12. Hi Scott! It has been snowing here aswell for about 2 hours now, mostly light but in the last 30 mins it has turned heavy. Another top up once again All the roads and cars are all white again, I don't know how many inches of snow is lying out there now, this is the best ever winter so far for me

  14. Cheers for the welcome guys Very exiting week or two ahead, I am in the central belt but I have had my fair share of snow over the last couple of weeks and there is no sign of it melting away anytime soon and with the possibility of more snow tomorrow night, this is the best ever winter I can remember:D
  15. Hi fellow Scots! My name is Robert, 21 from Barrhead, Glasgow. I just noticed someone has the name as me, they are cookie and I am c00kie, I hope your ok with that, hehe (just call me Rob or Rab) I have been reading this forum for a while now and have decided to join in the fun. I really love the weather, it really fascinates me. I really love cold weather, snow, thunderstorms and tornadoes. I plan to go storm chasing sometime in the next few years, I loved reading the forum from the storm chase team, it makes me jealous and wish I was there !!! I am enjoying this cold spell we are having just now, loving the snow and sledging. I have lots of pics of the recent snow that I will upload for others to see soon. I am still a novice when it comes to reading weather charts, models etc, but I know there is lots of info and help on this forum and I will learn with time. Cheers, Rob
