    I couldnt believe my eyes earlier as I dropped into Nantgaredig from the main road,.....not a sign of snow anywhere (apart from the surrounding hill tops of course),....Carmarthen seems to have missed out big time!!

    4cm here on average......just drove from brynamman to carmarthen and back.....no probs. I bet the mountain here has a good depth of snow though.

    Very marginal situation.....im reckon we are in for rain again personally with plenty of snow nearer the welsh border and midlands etc......sorry to be doom and gloom folks

    Exactly right! I worked in the arctic circle for a while (Kola Peninsula Russia) even the snow there was rarely above 12-15 inches,obviously the drifts were way deeper.

    People in the Southwest thread have been talking about heavy rain (Bridgwater,Bath area etc),.....looks like that rain is coming our way according to the radar
