  1. So very glad I don't live there anymore! Poeple treat that road as national speed limit....
  2. Just seen Liam J's post in NW thread. Which way is this front heading? I can't figure it out from the radar. Hopefully if it's slowly sliding SE, the convergence zone of the two fronts should do the same?
  3. None too accurate though.... Worcester falls in the sleet portion of that radar, but it almost certainly isn't and the precip is still light. I think it's just a case of magic and/or witchcraft....
  4. Very odd the snow/rain line at the moment. Places with quite some elevation with 'sleety mixes' etc, but the rest of us further down with snow all the way. Anyone care to explain?
  5. Very light snow in Worcester at a dizzying 22m ASL. Good times! Scratch that, From very light to light in about a nanosecond
  6. Don't get too downbeat. I remember Jan 2010 especially as a time where MO warnings came up after the fact, and systems not expected to even tickle Telford managed to bring us loads of snow. Convection is impossible to accurately predict too, so don't give up all hope!
  7. But frost is something we have been seriously lacking, so a minor celebration at least? With daytime maxima around 3/4 celcius in the midlands over the weekend according to model output, I am quite happy with the current situation when you take into consideration the winter so far.
  8. Oh how I wish I hadn't paid for radar only last week.....
  9. A Netweather CD with such classics as "I'm dreaming of a White Christmas" by Ian Brown?
  10. Anything to do with the V6 radar that has magically appeared on my subscription area? Or is that old news and i missed the boat.....
  11. I'll have a punt.....first 50 members to post after 6pm get a smoking jacket, pipe, and a baseball cap that says I (heart) NW?
  12. Girlfriend's report: Moderate rain in Tolladine Road, Worcester....
  13. Yeah I thought so. Got told different earlier, but does look a little further north. Maybe 20/30 miles?
  14. Agonising isn't it. 4 hours from T0 and it's still baffling.
