    Just woke up and it would seam like we've had nothing in Swindon at all! Total rubbish! When are the forecasters actually going to get it right for the N Wilts area? They've ao far been wrong all week and constantly changing their minds.....argh! Frustrating

    Ok guys so i'm now really confused. . . again! haha. All these different charts and discussions are confusing me and i now don't know what to expect from tomorrow? Can someone please clarify what is now being forecasted for the weather over the next few days? So far i'm have the idea that there will be widespread light snow tomorrow but with potential for further heavy snow from tuesday in to weds????? Is that correct? Any idea where this snow will fall? i'm in Swindon. Thanks!

    Left Swindon at 6:50 this morning and some light snow flurries we coming down. Looked like there had been a bit of snow over night? Temps were up to about -2. So what's the deal with the snow coming over the weekend? I'm guessing we will see some but i guess the question is just how much. Looking at things it would seem it won't be that much???????

    Just seen the new Met office warnings for Sunday to Monday. Trying not to get too excited just yet as it's a few days away and i almost had a mental breakdown on Tuesday with the changing forecasts and then when the snow didn't come as early as predicted! haha. We'll wait and see what happens!

    URGH that xmas tree in the middle of the Magic Round-a-bout in 08 was awful! I actually made a complaint about it on a group on Facebook and they were published in the Adver! Hilarious! Not too sure where we are for Monday but Snow looks good for Saturday morning and then some more Saturday evening through to early hours Sunday with i guess less accurate predictions for more on Monday. This is looking to get pretty nasty by this time next week. YAY another week "working from home"!!!

    Pics are taken from my apartment in the David Murray John Tower. Love watching the snow fall from up here and see it blanket everything in white. And yes, Swindon looks 150 times better covered in snow! haha. Pics were taken yesterday so no sunshine. Looking forward to more snow this afternoon according to BBC?

    -6.3c here in Swindon town center at the moment. Loving the views i have of the frozen town. Will try and post a few in a minute. Heavy snow forecasted again for Saturday evening in to early Sunday. Any chance this will pull off?

    It's so annoying for me as it seems to be swirling around Swindon so far and only missing us by about 10 miles!

    This is really now starting to do my head in! Oxford (where i work just 30 miles NE of Swindon) has had a few inches already and nothing here in Swindon since 2pm this afternoon. I know it will come but i want lots of it!! :lol: COME ON!

    Great stuff! So thats why it won't hit here until later tonight as it's got to go up and swirl back south again first and it's moving very slowly. Just hope the snow doesn't die out first! haha

    Ok getting confused again! What are the chances for Swindon looking like now after a few hours? Am i right in saying the majority of the bad snowfall will be back east Reading/Basingstoke way? No snow here at the moment and temps are at -0.1c
