  1. It looks like yet another batch is forming near Bridport! What is it with that area causing the storms to develop?
  2. The first time this year that a storm has intensified as it lifts over Salisbury Plain. Stunning CG and shotgun thunder a few minutes ago. Very frequent lightning from it!
  3. The most active storm so far passing just over the edge of Salisbury Plain. Frequent lightning, thunder and swirling wind. Lol as I pressed to complete the post there was a CG and shotgun thunder!
  4. Jeez it looks like another thundery batch is forming around Bridport and pulsing NE! This would have been awesome at night, however then you don’t see the cloud formations!
  5. Lightning then thunder in Warminster again! Mad 20 hours of conditions!
  6. Crazy tap on tap off hail and torrential rain developing as it raced overhead 10 minutes ago. It stopped and started 6 times in about 2 minutes with huge raindrops mixed with hail each time!
  7. If anyone uses Facebook go to Spotted in Warminster Town to see a remarkable strike caught on a video doorbell!
  8. Jasper Foxx that’s great. If you use Facebook go to Spotted in Warminster Town for a remarkable video doorbell shot!
  9. MP-R probably it’s just everything kicked off around and just after sunset.
  10. Is nocturnal cooling a thing this early in the year!? Perhaps it is with the changing climate!?
  11. Snow, hail, gales, torrential rain, sunshine and now lightning and thunder approaching to round off the day! A few distant flashes seen in the fading light plus rumbles too!
  12. offerman lol I was just about to report the same is happening in Warminster! Large blobs of wet snow within the heavy rain. Makes it a bit more interesting I suppose!
  13. Dorsetbred thanks. That earlier rain died out but more has now formed on that Western flank and it’s raining here now. Radar shows it to be showery and the sky around here is a mix of clear slots and very dark based clouds.
  14. jtay I’m not so sure. It’s forming way further West than modelled/forecast last night . Or it’s a different front!
  15. Surprisingly decent day with hazy sunny spells after rain cleared by 08.00! Breezy and fresh feeling which is a little odd on a SSE’ly. Front currently out West, tomorrow it apparently shifts East and invigorates by breakfast time. Can it be further East than predicted to leave a similar day to this!?
