    snowing again here in the Forest of Dean, Glos. We had a dusting this morning, but its just starting back up again. 0947

    2oC in the Forest of Dean. Just started snowing heavy now (9.00 am).

    Amazing snow in the forest. This is as thick as we have had at any time this winter. Brilliant. Roads are white again. 8inches now today. If you look at the BBC map the nearest snow to us at this moment is meant to be in North Wales.

    Still snowing in the Forest. Temp up to 1oC. Light snow but continual. Wild boar in our bins last night.

    It still snowing steady in The Forest of Dean. I thought this was meant to have passed us by, by now! I need to get to Ledbury today, but I think I will wait..... How long..... 5 inches on top of the ice and snow already here so we are up to 12 inches in places. The cold spell discussed for next week, will that include us here in Gloucestershire? Check out the wild boar in the snow

    NW is predicting the above but is there 100% of us geting snow. As I speak the temperature seems to be dropping fast. Will the drizzle turn to snow though? Everything is crossed.

    Its great to find there are so many other snow freaks out there. Each winter I follow the forecasts avidly to see if there will be snow only to have my hopes dashed. Its touch and go at the moment for us over in the Forest of Dean. Long term I hope we have loads of snow!

    Not sure where to post this. Any news on the Forest of Dean? Are we going to be snowed in?
