  1. -3.2 here, very frosty. The sun is just starting to show over the roof tops into my front window. Mince pies, bought, Christmas tree going up today
  2. My weather station showing -2.5 atm, my weatherxapp says -4 real feel -7. The heating has gone off now and I can feel the temp has dropped indoors, I've put my socks back on now
  3. I think it's about 10c here, now clouded over. Managed to drag myself out to Asda for essentials and there was alot of surface water and a couple of huge puddles. Can't shake this lurgy off, had no voice for 2 days now, just a croak, even Alexa ignores me. I'm sick
  4. The wind has picked up here, but I will say its not that bad, I think we have missed the worse of it (my dogs are puzzled by leaves blowing up in the air past the window)
  5. The wind has picked up a bit here, otherwise scattered cloud and sunny spells
  6. Local radio just said there's a warning out for danger to life for Merseyside. I'm about 3 miles from the coast, is it going to get worse?
  7. Currently 9.7c here, a few sunny intervals, but we've had a few hefty showers, and more to come by the looks of it.
  8. Chucking it down here atm, which I'm happy about, it deters the lighters of fireworks my dog gets so scared
  9. Phew! Just got home, raining stair rods, so much surface water the roads are horrible. Heating on, doors locked, and pulled pork in bbq sauce cooking, but I forgot the wine!
  10. My friend lives in Jersey and owns a seafront cafe, not heard anything. Just hope they're safe
  11. Scattered cloud here, 12.7c, 976hpa slight to moderate breeze, had the odd drizzley bit. Sefton police have put out warning to the public about Storm Ciaren, think they're going a bit OTT
  12. I lived in West Lancs in '97, our power went off for 24 hrs then 1/2 power for a few days, couldnt cook our Christmas dinner. My sisters father in law lost his collection of aviary birds, they all perished with no heat
  13. Moderate rain here, lots of surface water on the roads. Currently 11.5c, 971hpa, and so dark
  14. Had a heavy shower about lunch time, the wind has picked up a bit, but nothing worthy of a warning yet. Is there more to come or is it a damp squib?
