  1. but it wont be that warm now we in early October. over the last few GFS runs it has got the night times being quite cold with even frost. i still think a northerly wind not out off the question yet all it needs is the high to nudge further north then bingo we have our first cold blast. anyway looks like high presage for the time being with even frost at night in some areas.

  2. not warm at night though. been going though the charts this week and they look quite green come next week at nights so it could get quite chilly at night. just thought i point that out. mods sorry if i gone of topic. europe looks set to cool right down at night in fact. i think the high pressege for next week will go and it could not saying it will get quite wet and windy but as ever charts will change and so on.

  3. the leaves on the trees are going quite brown now and the nights are much cooler now aswell i think it wont be long till we see our firsr frost you know. on other web sites people been saying that autumn will start early and i hope it does

  4. If you want me to let it go, don't give me reason not to! Let this be the last sentence ever on this matter.

i dont agree with you that it will be the last frosts till auturm. the met office is still forecasting snow for northern hills in there 15 day outlook and frosts also from midlands northwards till at least 2 or 3 weeks time.

  5. I think we're clutching at straws when we're relying on yesterday's JMA (see below for today's one) for a down to earth view - what next, hauling the old WMC outlaugh.gif ?

Also, I'm not sure if the cold has really been put back all that much, as the first snow showers were shown a few days ago for Sunday/Monday and there does seem to be the potential for wintryness on Sunday, at least in the south east, before the real cold comes in on Tuesday evening.

    yeah i saw that
