  1. I'm stilla member Why me? lol Maybe Wednesday? Theres always hope! Hopefully it will be my last post in this thread , maybe one more to say im leaving the club , or ill be here next year , even more desperate. :wallbash:
  2. I think well be seeing alot of pale blue on th CAPE and LI charts this summer!!
  3. Well , 0 storms for me in 2010. Serves me right , I remember reading the no storms club 2009 thread with a smile on my face because from , Feb-August last year I seemed to be in storm central , counted about 15 , including thundersnow , 3 night storms , lots of thundershowers and got nice pics and videos of a funnel! Now this year I dont think I have even seen a towering cumulus yet!
  4. Very cloudy and cold here now , I am hoping the GFS has got it right with this chart: How likely is it that this much percipitation will make all the way to the south coast?
  5. Will Wexford get any of these showers or will they die out as the GFS thinks , I'm about 10 miles from the east coast and 270 feet asl , anybody have any idea what I might get? Is the GFS really playing down the potential for Irish Sea convection?
  6. I had about 3cm on New Years eve. Does anybody think I could get more tonight , I'm 265 feet asl and 10 miles from the east coast and about 15 from the south coast. Is it just me , or is the GFS really underestimating Irish sea covection? , it certainly did for Thursday night
  7. I had a covering of about 3cm on New Years eve , most of it is still here , it looks like i might get a few more showers tonight. I was walking in the mountains on Wednesday in total blizzard conditions , never seen winds like it , there was snow drifts of up to abouy 9 foot above 600m , and they have got more snow since. I might take a trip up with the camera tommorrow , will post pics if I do.
  8. I just saw the weather forecast on RTE 1 and they said we will be very lucky to avoid a major snow event soon , it just wont happen in the next 36 hours. I'll believe it when I see it , met eireann have been exceptionally bad forecasting what percipitation will fall lately , they can't be trusted to forecast tommorrow never mind next weekend!
  9. I have come home to a really good covering of snow , about 2-3cm , totally unexpected!! Still coming down in bucket loads , :(
  10. Does anybody know how Wexford will fair over the next week or so? I'm just over 10 miles from the coast and about 270 feet asl. Do I even stand a chance at seeing a flake?
  11. If the GFS 18z is to beleived , WE ARE BACK ON TRACK! Up till +153 anyway.
  12. Does anybody know if the 12z was a once off , with the cold air totally missing us next wednesday and not arriving till sunday. Or will it continue in this manner and be a massive dissapointment. Or will we soon see the epic outputs of yesterdat return?
  13. AHHHH! Why is our cold easterly blast for Wednesday and Thursday gone south into central france?????:blush: I have everything crossed that it will go back to what it was showing yesterday for the 18z.
  14. Paddy Power have 7/2 odds for snow falling on christamas day tonight , it was 8/1 two days ago! Do they have an insider on here or in the met office? Ha!
  15. It look like a fairly short lived event for western areas on the 12z. Is this what it's likely to be or could last a bit longer????
