Temp up to 1.7C and dew point 0C, very marginal here, hope temp drops as the precip falls when it gets here, though im off to Cowbridge for work in 20mins so might see something on the drive down there.

No snow here as expected, temp currently 1.5C so doubt we will get any now should showers pass over. Im hoping February can pull something good out of the bag to produce snow here on the coast so its not another snowless winter!

Had a low of -2.6C, -2.2C currently. Bbc local westher shows quite a lot of snow showers today though looks like us in the South East will miss most of any snow in this cold snap.

Going by the weather forecasts thismorning, I don't think we will see any snow down South, bar the odd fleeting shower that makes it down here. The North could get some decent snow showers though!

I was surprised by the winds, haven't been on here much or seen the weather on news much last few days so didn't know how windy it was going to be. Im also surprised there hasn't been any damage. Im in a a sheltered bowl, around 20m lower than top of my street and surrounding streets so the winds by me are 15-20mph less than the top of my street and rest of Barry. I only recorded a max of 23.9mph yesterday (still, strong enough to blow everything around lol) and again so far today but other stations near me have been recording 45-50mph gusts in Barry, certainly enough to start damaging trees etc I'd have thought.

Had 24.8mm of rain today and pouring down again, been very much a day of being wrapped up cosy inside lol.

Temp 3.7C and rising, the thick ice and frost is starting to melt away slowly. As much as I love the cold, my gas bill will enjoy not having to be on as much next week!

Temp is rising rapidly here, just gone from -0.5 to 0.3C in the space of 2mins, guess as the cloud is extending over from the shower, so expet rain if anything falls here. Nice to see some snow falling for other further inland though!

Its currently -1.9C here but temps predicted to rise to 2C overnight, guessing this will be from clouds/showers passing over? Everything is still frozen but should defrost tomorrow with temps up to 7C for here.

Had a breif high of 4.7c today after a low of -4.8c. Its 2.3C now and frost has remained on all surfaces in the shade as per last few days. Be a shame when it all melts over the weekend, looking nice and wintery now with a few days and nights of frost build up.

Shame coatal areas won't see any temporary snow from ths front Sunday, would have loved that before the rain started. Temp down to -1.6C already

Was suppose to have a hight of 4-5C today, we had a high of 2.6C, now bad down to 0.6C so colder than forecast. Ice and frost remained all day in the shade. I think there is a chance we might go lower than last nights -6.5C.

We has a low of -6.5C here, -6C currently, lowest here since probably 2010, very rare to get this cold on the coast in the South West of the country!

Breifly went above freezing to 0.6C, now -1.6C ao expect it to be our coldest night yet. I can appreciate that this is a good cold spell to be getting temperatures here on the coast only just above freezing by day and below every night. However unfortunately I will remember it as the spell that didn't deliver my snow fix lol.

Our coldest day yet, still -0.2C here, probaly ring above 0 later but impressive to almost have an ice day here, very rare in Barry!

The front is definitely going way south of us, hope it can cause a few showers to break out overnight though

Shame the front is fizzling out before getting close to us, hopefully any heavier precip stays more in tacked even to give us some light flurries, wishful thinking I know
