All clear here in Barry sadly! -
Had a bit of sleety rain today, mostly rain. Still got my fingers crossed to see some snow this cold spell!

Mountains will probably sap them, temp rising quickly now 2.2c so will be cold rain so don't want them unless its snow

Very frosty and icy morning after a low of -1.4c last night, nice to see some proper frosty conditions! Shame to say thats our lowest temperature all winter though, which isn't low really. Now, wheres those snow showers, stop avoiding me lol

Icy here too, first time I've seen ice on the pavements thismorning. However temp already at 3c with a dp of 1.4c so definitely rain if that front makes it here lol

Wish I didn't live an hours drive from the heads of the valleys or id be taking a drive round there now! Hopefully things will get better next week for us far southerners/low laying areas if like others have said things can continue to cool down.

A balmy 5C here in Barry, had some rain last night but that was it. I think it will be rain here on coast if we do get anything tomorrow. Be good further inland though! Have to go to my Dentist in Bridgend tomorrow so if there is any snow about might take a drive up the Bwlch way while im there to get some snow!

Temps rising here, now 1c as the band slowly approaches so imagine it will end up just the wrong side of marginal on the coast.

I might have to take a little drive a bit further inland to see some snow and satisfying my craving if we get rain as per those charts lol my daily exercise an all

Last nights sleety rain has frozen solid on everything now. My partner is working in Andover in Hampshire and its snowing heavy there, not fair lol.

Been pouring with rain in good old Barry but turned very sleety now.

Temp risen to 3.8c and raining, lets hope it drops a bit as the night goes on!

Its looking good for most areas of Wales! I remain slightly hopeful for a sprinkling of snow and then the possibility of seeing a snow shower or 2 through the week! On annual leave for next 16 days so may have to take a drive somewhere to see the snow

Well can hope for something in the night lol I uses to live in Bridgend yeah but been in Barry since March when moved into the other halfs, about 2 miles inland and only 40m above sea level so not got much if anything going in my favour with snowfall unless everything falls right

Do we know yet if low laying costal areas in the south are going to be in the wrong/right side of marignal for snow Monday or will we have to wait till tomorrow to get a better idea?

Hopefully get a dusting down here atleast Monday, fingers crossed for the first snow in a few winters lol

Well just took a drive to cardiff for my one month check up after my lasik eye surgery, Barry is almost inaccessible with the flooding, culvahouse cross flooded with cars floating about according to the radio and similar in dinas, had to go to bridgend and uo a48 to get back into Barry. Never driven through so much flooding before! With regards to the cold, hope any battle ground snow we do get we can all join in on and not just inland/higher ground

I'd say any snow currently is going to be M4 North in Wales next week, going by what I've seen in the mod thread, valleys could do well, will have to see. I don't think there will be much if anything for low lying/costal areas along the south atm. I do struggle to read the mod thread though and have very basic understanding so feel free to ignore me

Don't think im going to see anything snow wise from this cold spell living on the coast, but be nice to just have some colder weather for a while!

Gutted i missed the storms last night, went about 8-10miles to the north of me, looked amazing from what I could see from that distance. Hopefully something will crop up around where im going to be working today in Cowbridge!

Just watching the storm about 10miles away going over cardiff, constant lightning coming from it and constant distant thunder, gutted I've missed it, if i didnt have to be up for a 13hr shift tomorrow id have taken a drive to it! -

Need some storms to develop over the south west and move up over south Wales, not had a proper storm in a few years
