Hi pressure dropping here it saying 981.0 but as said in my earlier post think this isn't to accurate? Temp 11.7 humidity 90% My weather station is going mad flashing at me! Wind is eerily calm

Well peeps time for sleep for me.. All this forum watch has exhausted me. I doubt the storm whatever strength it is will wake me, do to those of you who stay up. Enjoy the evening and play nicely. If it is alot less severe we are all winners in my book.
Have a goodnight Polar Bear. Pressure now dropping here,my reading is 982.9 but not sure how accurate that is? Still calm wind wise!

Hi from reading this thread can I take it it isn't gonna be as bad as been made out by the weather forecasters? I certainly would sleep easier!

Hi obviously a lot of interest in this thread,and I would agree I would rather have a warning and it not happen than be caught out so to speak! We have tidied up the loose stuff in the garden and moved the van which is normally parked under a tree{We have had one van nearly wrote of thanks to a huge branch landing on it,luckily it only broke the windscreen,the bodywork was dented but ok} All I would say is stay safe and be sensible!
Current conditions for Newbury Berks is raining and breezy with reasonable gusts,pressure is currently stable.

Iceland is a place I will visit one day,take plenty of money its not a cheap place to visit? As for the driving,take your time don't rush and it will be second nature before you know it -

Hi we got 151.5 mm of rain here last month and it certainly felt like the wettest June I have ever known! Oh and its still raining.........

yes i was 11 years of age and went swimming every day of the school holidays apart from when we went to the air show at Greenham common B) so my location is Newbury Berkshire oh as for later summers.1995? -
Hi Current temp - 4.5 degrees
Max temp - 11.2 degrees
Weather front went through at 3pm with some heavy rain and strong winds,quite dramatic.
Rainfall 3.3 mm Will double check this tomorrow with me new rain gauge.

My current weather stations rainfall measurements seem to be all over the place so was thinking of getting a more accurate rainfall gauge. -
Hi not sure how bad it will be down south here in Berkshire,but all the local forecasters are saying it will be bad? Saying that a 'Yellow' alert is in place for Sunday night/Monday?Been windy today and very muggy with a nice spell of precipitation for a couple of hours {12 am - 2 pm}now clear an breezy. Fingers crossed for a good show but that every one stays safe

Hi very dark and stormy here,brother heard some thunder,but not seen any lightning yet? Now the rain has arrived. Its passing just east of Newbury Berkshire. Also looking very dark due south of Newbury? Looking more like its just going to be a heavy shower now?

Hi had two storms last night one at 1-15 am then again at 6-30am,both with lightning mainly cloud to cloud,then a wet stormy start to the day. Now looking very dull with heavy looking cloud.

Hi total cloud cover here{has been since about 1pm} Light winds so far,no rain as yet. Moved van from under tree just in case!
