    Fair coming down in Larkhall. We must be in the path, couple of inches and rising. This was nearly an hour ago.

    I thought I heard thunder during that last big shower. On reflection, I'm sure it was a neighbour taking the bin in.

    It has snowed consistently here in Larkhall since about 1am this morning, fantastic event! Been on the borderline of precip on raintoday for the last 2 hours, so front has stalled. Temp drop from 1.9C to 1.1C in the last hour - Has to be good news?

    Good old Tommy Schafernaker on News 24 mentioned 30 minutes ago that more cold weather was due after this mild spell. Then again a couple of minutes ago he expanded a bit saying after a couple of days of milder weather it's due to get colder. Great forum (and thread) everybody, first post!
