  1. Very strange feeling day. Like being exposed to a hairdryer on a low heat setting.
  2. He goes by the name of Levi Winchester now. Different name same irresponsible muppet.
  3. So they have allowed Madden out of his box again, and dosed him up on his "forecasting snow" obsession tablets. Wellies and brollies at the ready then...or maybe it'll be a Bartlett winter..exceptionally mild.
  4. Distant lightning flashes to the west of me ..30 miles away at least.
  5. HUMAN SACRIFICES, DOGS AND CATS LIVING TOGETHER......MASS HYSTERIA. You forgot to add that Nathan when you farted out that pile of diarrhoea. Moron.
  6. Don't know about what kind of flooring he should be, but he needs flooring with a good left right combo. What a weapon he truly is.
  7. James Madden is a complete and utter tool. Last "winter" he just could not stop himself from forecasting snow over and over again..week in week out...while in the real world the rain and wind just kept on coming. He is a clown..a fraud...and I feel a strange sense of sympathy for those gullible enough to believe the diarrhoea that emanates from him, as they clearly do not possess the intelligence required to see the truth. As for my early hopes for this winter...a normal winter will do just fine. Any repeat of the hideous spawn of satan of 2013/14 and I am emigrating.
  8. A normal winter of mild spells, albeit without too much rain interspersed with colder spells with snow and frosty conditions will do just fine. What won't do would be a repeat of the hideous spawn of Satan that had had the official title of winter 2013/14.
  9. Getting clobbered by Cheshire Gap showers ...yet again. Will be glad to see the back of August..it's been garbage here.
  10. Know what you mean Conor..this would be one of those classic North Westerly snow streamers which have a very enjoyable tendency to dump several inches of snow even to lower levels. In August tho...yuk!
  11. Not as depressing as this so called summer month is turning out to be...utter garbage sadly.
  12. June was pretty decent. 7/10 July was for me excellent. Hot and humid with great thunderstorms thrown in 9/10 August has just been diabolical by comparison. 0/10
  13. Was it winter? When? On what day specifically? Was it on a day that wasn't wrecked by howling gales and horizontal rain? Winter my Arsenal!
  14. Let's put this into some sort of perspective. We have had a period of weather where we've had high temperatures, sunshine, some spectacular thunderstorms...summer weather of the type we don't tend to get very often in this country, and this spell has had many benefits for many people, not to mention the outdoor trades that are dependant on good weather. Turn the clock back a few short months to when we were getting relentlessly battered by gales/rain/gales/rain and the resulting property damage, and human misery inflicted by the horrendous weather of that time. Now that was weather to moan about because it went on and on and on...and was of benefit to no one with no redeeming features to it whatsoever. That rubbish went on for months...the heat won't.

  16. Another bank of cumulus developing to the W-SW of me..darkening base.
  17. Temperature drop from 27.6c to 20.7c shower just ending...sky very dark to the E/NE.....Thunder just heard!
  18. Rumbles of thunder....lightning detector not picking up strikes though????
  19. Main activity just south of Coventry looks like its on course for Nuneaton area next....sorry Brummies but then you lot had el Brumo a couple of years back. Sporadic strikes further west towards the Shropshire and the Welsh Marches. I might hear thunder today after all. Way hey.
  20. Think people have fallen into the trap of seeing where they live being in the amber warning area, then assuming they are nailed on to get thunderstorms. It never happens like that. Somewhere will be inundated with thunder and lightning with an inch of rain/hail falling in an hour, 10 miles down the road will get nothing. That's the way it goes.Have to agree with Tony about those in Bath making criticisms...Bath looks to have done quite well for storms.
