And finally it stops

It is still really bad in Braunstone. Hail still coming, rain torrential. Reports of car damage now too.

Been very interesting in Leicester for the past 10 minutes. Frequent CC and CG lightening, thunder, reasonably large chunks of hail and now heavy heavy rain. Bad. Reports of flooding and downed trees coming in.

Just started snowing lightly in LE3 so here's hoping the trend others have expereinced continues and we get some heavier stuff within the next half hour.

Hail has ceased up now which is good, just falling as snow. Quite a good dusting - it's exceded my expectations thus far today, here's hoping it continues.

Hail/Snow mix falling in Leicester now. Wind is strong, just blew the bins over. If anyone is out in the hail and winds it must be painful

Just logging back on after the storm that hit Leicester. Cackling thunder and frequent C-C and C-G lightning. Viewing it from a distance now, its certainly an impressive looking sight.

CG lightning in the distance and coming my way <_< Leicester hasn't had too bad a result today!

As Andy has said, the storm in Leicester (I'm LE3) was pretty intense. Some really eye-catching stuff. Here's hoping for more later today.
