  1. Pontypridd has been inundated, town center is flooding and water rising quickly.
  2. Lowest recorded daytime maximum temperature in March -4.6c in Northern Scotland. Bet Sennybridge and several other stations beat that one tomorrow.
  3. Showers all merged together into a nice band and headed straight for Swansea, giving the city centre a dusting. Outskirts of Swansea such as Llansamlet and Pontardawe have had a good covering surprisingly.
  4. Stuck on A465 between Merthyr and Glynneath. Numerous cars stranded, foot of snow on the road. Still pasting it down and no sign of any ploughs.
  5. Just passed over the A470, between Libanus and Nant Ddu there is about 1cm of snow on the road and fields.
  6. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10201767481262144&l=1890089018583569001 Porthcawl earlier, waves coming right over the seafront.A caravan blew over on the M4 near Port Talbot. Conditions are horrible on the M4 with drivers barely going above 40mph. The Welsh highways agency were slow to introduce speed restrictions despite the seriously dangerous conditions and it was only after this happened that the speed limit was dropped to 50/40/30MPH along the M4.
  7. 84mph just recorded on Mumbles head. Severn bridge now closed to all traffic, trees coming down everywhere.
  8. So calm in Cardiff now that some areas have thick fog. Rain has been an enormous problem and now many roads are flooded and impassable.
