  6. Have I ever talked about my hidden talent on this site? If not, I'll let this video do the talking... PS. Rewatching that video back, I noticed how young I looked. The video was taken in 2018 so I was 15 at that time but I look a few years younger. I also looked very skinny back then. Lol

  17. Very, very long time lurker who loves reading the posts from posters, clearly some who are very experienced and others who are just keen to learn. I have lived in West Yorkshire, high above Holmfirth and we always seemed to get the worst of the rain and snow. Recently I moved to Shaftesbury which at 200 to 250m asl is pretty good for Dorset and does at least get snow. This winter we have had several dustings of snow and several hard frosts which has already made this one much more like winters of old. I will post in the South West region thread and am not qualified to venture i

  27. Really hard for the elderly....Hereโ€™s some advice my friend just sent from Stanford hospital where her dad is a patient: Sorry if a bit maudlin.. Stanford hospital board internal message. The new Coronavirus may not show sign of infection for many days. How can one know if he/she is infected? By the time they have fever and/or cough and go to the hospital, the lung is usually 50% Fibrosis and it's too late. Taiwan experts provide a simple self-check that we can do every morning. Take a deep breath and hold your breath for more than 10 seconds. If you complete it successfully without

  28. Why do I get the feeling that summer brings out those who want to incessantly prove how "hard" they are? All we seem to get is people ostentatiously sneering at those of us who feel unwell when the temperature is above 30C AND the humidity is above 70%.

  37. IMO, Summer 2020 has been wonderful, for those of us who enjoy nothing better than to sit and marvel at the clouds of butterflies that are swarming around buddleia bushes and hedgerows... Can there be an any more-pleasing aspect of Nature, than watching a dragonfly catch a peacock butterfly, in mid-flight? Nature red in tooth and claw?๐Ÿฆ‹
