The village here is on a low ridge and had really caught the full force of the subzero Easterly.
About 8" of snow was largely swept into the back gardens and roads.
At the house shown here they had to climb over the garden wall with stepladders to get in and out today.
In 1979 the previous owner eventually dug a tunnel to the gate.
