Happy New Year to one and all! I had a good night last night, me and Mrs A-M drank 2, thats right 2, bottles of champagne between us, very tasty. I'm suffering a little today but I'll soldier on.

What will 2006 bring to us? The title of this entry is a little misleading as the new weather, IMO, started last February with the PFJ smashing into the pole. I also think that cooling will now be inevitable as I think there will be greater snowfall throughout Eurasia and North America this winter, as a result the albedo level will be increased, leading to a slightly cooler year, followed by another snowy winter with a lot of snow and so on....

Anyhoo, my resolution this year is to lose weight. After the festive period I am now a portly 15st 10lb which is shocking! My aim is to be around 13st 7lb by summer; time will tell.
