After a couple of philosophical entries, now's the time to say what's been going on in the green and pleasant land.I have an ongoing geophysics project to be handed in tomorrow- must do a lot of work on it today- and it's quite monotonous. Then again it's the only project I'm going to have to do that isn't based on atmospheric science, so hopefully the others will be more interesting. The 'Chatmosphere' session was pretty good- I think I'll be making regular appearances there. (Chatmosphere is where people talk about the weather- sorry if that sounds as predictable as the media reports that winter 2005/06 will be the coldest since 1962/63!)Socially, Leeds is still pretty good, although the anticyclonic gloom has been unappealing. The new bar on campus, Mine, looks to have some pretty good food available as well. At the Tenpin Bowling Club, my scores are slowly recovering towards 100/game.
