As they say, 'all good things must come to an end'.

I took my beloved 1992 Rover to the exhaust doctor today (Not Kwik Fit though Mick - although that song was going around in my head for the rest of the day B) ), and the lovely exhaust man sad that I needed a complete exhaust :doh: . He quoted £275 + VAT + Fitting. The car is also due for MOT on Saturday morning which could add another 2-300 quid in repairs to the bill.

So I have had a long chat with Mrs Dazza and we have decided to lay the beloved car to rest *crying smiley*.

RIP Rhonda Rover, you have served me well......

:o Noooooooooooooooo *sobs* How are you going to deal with the grief? You have my deepest sympathy. I shed a tear or too when we got rid of the Vitesse.

Thank you for your support. I think the only way we can compensate is to get another. We shall be popping to the local Rover dealer at the weekend. I know what I am like though, all their shiny grills will be shouting 'me, me' and i'll want to take them all home :( .
