Summer Madness?

Does summer madness have any limits?

The Moaty Fan Club seems to have died down - thank God. But those filthy useless parasites who call themselves 'Democracy Campaigners' are still annoying the capital. Not content with taking themselves and their unsavoury toilet habits away with them, they are now 'camping' on the pavement close to the Houses of Parliament! Where do these people get off?

It's not often that I agree with Boris Johnson. But, on the subject of these sick people I certainly do!

I wish I could work out what Mr Cameron's 'Big whatever' is all about...

What A Strange Week...

Just why is that Moat pillock being seen as some sort of 'folk hero'? Sometimes, the British public mystifies me completely...

Here was a MURDERER and an attempted murderer who thankfully decided to top himself. And some inane people want to look up to him as some kind of latter-day Robin Hood????

Ye Gods. What is the world coming to???!!! :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:

Life Starts Here!

Well, what with a new job, clearing away the cobwebs, burning all the deadwood and so on - things are really starting to look up! I'll have to teach myself MS Excel...But hey, so what, I've taught myself far harder things over the years! It's great to be free of other people's emotional baggage for once? To be able to concentrate on the thing that really matters most - ME! :o  The satisfying thing about offering to help others lies, not in necessarily doing anything, but in the knowledge that the offer was genuine...

A Matter Of Perspective?

How things have changed since my last entry!!! Now I know what real friendship is...Now, I have a friend without any 'untoward' connotations...And what a difference: no need to worry about appearance, impression or anything like that...Everything seems to have suddenly sorted itself out. Friendship is one thing. Allowing one's self to be seduced under false-pretenses is another. But, hey, we live and learn!!! :o He who makes no mistakes makes nothing!!!I'll be announcing something happier soon but - not just yet!!

How Things Have Improved!

Sorry for all that miserable stuff peeps... :o All is forgotten now and we can all look-forward to happy times...The world's turned full-circle several times since last Saturday night. And how, have things got better! For some reason, I keep thinking of daleks and dustbins!

Victims

There are victims everywhere, I know. But some people do tend to take it a bit far. Once a victim, always a victim; what a way to live life? No matter what happens, why it happens, when it happens, who causes it - all that matters is that victim status can never be compromised! Very sad... :o

Truth, Lies And Deception?

Whatever 'truth' is, it's better to uncover it than to bury one's head in the sand. So, who are our friends then? IMO quite simply - those who ask you how we are, and mean it! Those who merely unload all their-own problems (we all have problems) onto anyone prepared to listen, so as only to make themselves feel better, are not friends; they are emotional leeches... :o That said, I think we should still be basically 'trusting' in nature. The vast majority of people are not leeches; to assume that they are will only condem us to a life of unhappiness. It's the same with 'ulterior' motives. Why transfer our own self-misgivings onto others? From my, admittedly limited, experience of such things - those who most fear ulterior motives in others, are the very source of their-own mistrust. If you are honest in yourself, why be so preoccupied with presuming disingenuousness in others? If you can't be true with yourself, how can you ever expect anyone-else to be?

Time To Be Philosphical, I Think?

Oh well...so that one didn't work out! :o Never mind, no-one can be in control of everything. Today, I have a whole new perspective on life [Yet another one!]: Be happy yourself and you'll attract other happy people. Be obviously neurotic, and you'll attract other obviously neurotic people... It's nobody's fault; it's the way-of-the-world. But attractions between fellow-neurotics can be only superficial, however deeply they may be felt. Sooner-or-later the neuroticism takes over; all that seemed 'right' suddenly seems 'wrong'. Now for the hard bit!

I daren't look at what I was posting last night... Anyway, took my empty wine boxes/bottles out today. The faeries have been drinking my wine while I'm not looking again...I'm sure I heard giggling in the night. So, maybe that explains it? :o And, life seems to be sorting itself out now. Although a difficult road lies ahead, I can feel my Lifelines starting to come together. I can feel my Lifelines getting ever closer too...

Stardate: 130605

Well peeps...After taking-stock of things, It's now time to take a backseat...Sometimes, in life, we must do what's right. For me just now, the 'right thing' is, I think, to give others the chance they deserve...So, I am here and I'm not going anywhere. And, I take nothing back. :o Neither, do I regret getting 'involved'. 'The road is rocky but it won't be rocky long.' the old song goes: for the one that matters, either road [if it's travelled with honesty] ultimately will have a happy ending. Who know's - both roads may even lead to the same destination??So wait and hope I must...

Star Date 110605 Pt. 1...

Well, here we are after the non-appearence of Mr Ring's "rough weather". It's fair enough again today... And, Sally (Mrs T) will be back from her sojourn around Ireland tomorrow. I do hope she's had a good time!! No-doubt we'll be discussing it when she returns...I'm looking-forward to seeing her... Anyways, I'm feeling a bit perplexed today. Sometimes, it feels as-if the whole World wants me to be sad and unhappy. When, all I want is for everyone to be contented!! Life's choices have consequences - of that, I'm fully aware. But, the very idea of adhering to the arbitrary morality of others, really gets my goat!! :o Sorry, if this all sounds a bit down...It's just the way I feel today!

Ken Ring

Here we go, I think...I'm still trying to make sense out of Ring's extraordinary claims:Despite his inability to understand basic science, he makes sweeping claims and statements which seem to be plucked out of thin air...As things stand just now, I'm even more convinced that his ideas are bogus...
