just to let you know that Ellen Rose decided that she wasn't waiting till November and arrived yesterday at 2am after a 2 1/2 hour labour(waters broke 24 before...). She was born in a pool at the birth centre, although cos she's a scrap, we had to then go to hospital where she got the all clear. I actually managed to get half an hour in the garden yesterday. It is looking really lovely. We decided that as it is our first year here, that we'd just leave it and see what comes up before doing anything else. Tuesday morning, Nellie was lying on the sofa with a bit of a temperature, but nothing serious. Me and her daddy went in to do the regular check, and we noticed she was lying funny. We then realised she had her eyes rolled back, having a seizure, and her temp was sky high.

yesterday we saw the health visitor who weighed the mini-roo and confirmed that she had put on a whole 5 1/2 oz and so was not of concern anymore...yayayayayayayay! In addition, her jaundice is definitely going and they don't want to do any blood tests, etc which is great!
