A wet & wild night ahead

A Wild wet and windy night

Once this system clears to the east, more showers blow in from the north west, turning wintry over higher ground in Scotland and N Ireland and spreading into England nd Wales through the day.

Another spell of persistent rain for Wales, Ireland, N Ireland and some areas in England through Thursday wil clear to the south east during Good Friday as high pressure arrives from the south west, which is a good sign for the weekend as it'll be considerably drier and calmer, though a little chilly overnight under clearing skies.
