This weekend it is T in the Park. As Ed Sheeran, Pixies, Artic Monkeys and Paulo Nutini (amongst many others) gather in eastern Scotland, how is the weather looking?

As Balando, not far from Kinross and Loch Leven, prepares for the crowds arriving later this week, thoughts are turning to the weather forecast. What will the Scottish weather bring for T in the Park. What to pack, wellies, sunhat, shades, jumper, all of the above?

If you are setting off on Thursday, it will be warm sunshine for your journey. 19C

Thursday night- More cloud, perhaps feeling a bit damp in the air but hardly any breeze to help putting up your tent and not too cold overnight at 11C

Fancy dress Friday- Looking good! Brightening up then a sunny afternoon into the evening 21C (70F). There will be some hefty showers for eastern Scotland but they seem to be missing Kinross-shire. So super weather for a crazy outfit and the first main day.
e2808bCloudy but mild overnight for the campers

Saturday - It will feel warm and muggy 21C. There will be cloudy skies but bright at times and by the afternoon and evening there will be some showers. They come, they go.
Mild overnight, odd shower

Sunday - A similiar day to Saturday, 18C feeling humid with bits of brightness but risk of showers off and on.

Sunday night - Clear, dry and colder 7C

So looking good Friday, more mixed at the weekend and for the campers only Sunday night looks chilly.
