Sunshine, warmth, those shorts I told you not to wear, daffodils and 20.1C (68F) last weekend 20.5 (69F) the weekend before. Spring has arrived and the birds are singing. Of course this being the UK, the weather doesn't want to keep to one path and the end of this week will bring cold air, night time frosts and possibly some snow.
That cold air sticks around into the weekend, gardeners beware of an air frost Friday night. Showers will be wintry, at this stage the only snow likely is for the higher ground but worth keeping an eye on the forecast this week.
