Not the best pics as it was moving away from me and there was no way I was going to catch up. Also didn't have anything but 10-20mm lense with me so didn't have a lot of zoom to play with!

I'm pleased though, first funnel pic in 3/4 years of weather watching/chasing!

Very well caught :D ...On the last photo, the 'zoom in' actually shows it as quite a 'beefy' funnel cloud!

I just had a feeling something was going to materialise yesterday even though everything seemed to be moving alot slower that the day before, well at least from what i saw, i have some footage so I will post my stuff in here too. Wow I was south Norwich too, I had to make an excuse to go out and film as I was with my gf near newton flotman. Felt a bit restricted to venture out further. The good thing about this forum everyone is in it for the same thing and thats good so I do get to see these events even if I'm not there! :) Nice find and capture Winso! :D

Yep

Well caught Winso - Those clouds had that look to em yesterday all around East Anglia. Was this taken down the famous (as stevestorms says) A140 Tornado Alley Road or along the A47 ??

Thanks for the comments guys!

The main road (under the road I'm on) that you can see on pic 1 is the A47. Go about 1-2 miles along at and turn left you're on the A140 heading south. The was funnel is about 4-5 miles to the East of it I'd say, so notch up another one for the Tornado Alley road!

I've got some alright looking shots of the actual storm I was watching before the funnel dropped which I'll post up later.

Great looking funnel, shame you couldn't get any closer, standing underneath that would have been

quite thrilling to say the least... Nevertheless well captured and well worth the chase..
